well i dont know shit about theory but yet again seems like im good since ppl always seems impressed to know i only played for 3 and a half years dont ask me to play in a minor or something tho or ill just give you the homer simpson dumb look, but knowing theory doesnt make you a better guitarist just a better guitar wanker, (guitar wanker being those ultra skilled guitarist that cant write a song decently my fave example being children of bodom, super skilled guitarist but all his songs are palm mute scales and pinch harmonics and keyboard making the melodies and sometimes even making the solo instead of him)
