I admit in doing only limited testing, but still.. The only time auto-spell
weapons seem to work for me is when I auto-unequip with the message
"You are not in battle and decide to unequip" (or smth like that).

Now I was wondering, does auto-spell work on some other occasions too?
Additionally, is there an artificial way to force the "You are not in battle.."
event to trigger? Thx.

regiss have you tried entering town and seeing if it does it when it un-equips u? just wondering

id say the reason it only does work when it unequips u and says "you are not in battle..... " is because that was implemented in the first place as an anit macro thingy.... and on a side note.. i have been unequiped when in battle and got the same msg "u decide to unequiip because u are not in battle... "

maybe it would be the best to remove that

It doesn't work due to protected area unequip, nor does it due to "equip/
unequip" macro.

Reason for sometimes unequiping in the middle of a battle is bandie heal,
though.

BB said only a few months ago that he had fixed them I recall, but I havent got them to work yet in battle. I've tried auto sight, auto-cure, auto-heal etc and not seen it.
