such a horrible idea to do that! god! my cpu is already getting to like 70 degrees!

lowering the voltage, lowers the rpms, and raises the temperature

ur overclocked to what? ive never seen 60'C yet. p4 3.0 15*243 3.6Ghz..

over 65o is bad u wanna get yourself a new fan and maybe check the thermal grease on the cpu.

brand new cpu, and fans, just don't overclock by around ummmmmmmmm i think at 30% it freezes..... so i had it around 25% overclocked, with a 3.2 ghz p4 cpu


edit : it only heats up that badly with massive overclocking and tons of programs running

i have an asus motherboard aswell, so i have a program watchin my cpu temp and fan speeds etc. Plus i can turn up the fan speeds whenever its needed

im really sure youre cpu cant handle that temp
