if you're in a lan then talk to your network admin to check what ports the patcher tries to connect. then tell him to open them. Cuz if you can see the forums and site then the patcher should connect. so those ports must be opened in order for you to play |

OR if you have a firewall make sure that you allow "obsidian.exe", "obsidianpatch.exe" and "transerv.exe" to connect to the internet. |

ive add them to firewall and tryed turn it off not with lan just use the net still wont let me pach it dont no what to do ! |

make sure the firewall allows them to go out on the net. make sure your computer is virus free, some viruses flood the ports obsi patcher needs. If none of these work then try to use a proxy, that should work. If not, contact your isp  (but reinstall obsi first, just to be safe)
