Welcome to CyberVic' Obsidian Guides. This site had it's humble beginnings as informational site for the tamers of Obsidian, but it has become much much more. It is now the Official Skill Guides and more of Obsidian. As some of you know I used to be a GM CyberVic back in 2000 when Broadband and I first created Obsidian. It took us almost a year and 3 prototype servers before we got it to what it was even back then. I was away for 3 1/2 years and I was originally back as a player and Counselor, but now I'm officially back as GM CyberVic: Guru of Knowledge.
My main character, when I was playing, was Soriathus. Soriathus was a wood elf tamer. The tamer is the most unique class to ever grace an MMORPG. Every MMORPG has tried to come up with a class with the same uniqueness but all have failed. The tamer is a loner, a wanderer, an adventurer. He relies on his animals more than his own brawn and is always found with a crook in his hand and an animals by his side. His trade of choice is the sale and barter of animals, the ones he tames. Though another good side skill would be tailoring because he is always with sheep and other animals he can get hides from.
