Item Identification
Skill details:
- Item identification is the merchant's skill of appraising the approximate range of an item's overall worth.
- It can also be used to determine the true nature of a magical weapon or magical armour.
- Chance of successfully identifying a magic item increases with skill.
Skill usage:
To use the skill,
click the blue gem next to the skill on
your skill list or use a USESKILL macro. Target an item with
your cursor that needs identification. Specialty items
for example exceptional and magic items will be appraised
at their mundane counterpart's appaisal price. If it is a magic item,
once properly identified it's name will change to reflect what it is.
