The house is in water. This used to be the residence of Fierce I believe, now it is where Destiny makes home. I believe it was made by Valor, a long time ago. Don't know what the deal with it is.

hmmmm. imo just because things arent allowed now doesnt mean things should be eliminated that were made before they were illegal.

if someone is lucky enough to have something that has been passed down from a true vet like valor. imo they should get to keep it.

also. and again , just my opinion, i've noticed a lot of tattletales, whiners, and just flat out babies in the forums lately, then i notice the ones who got told on come back and tell on the people who told on them. reminds me of my two boys who are 9 and 10 years old.

staff are here to uphold the rules, players are here to enjoy bb's world. i totally agree if something very wrong is going on staff should be notified, but every single little bending of the rules being reported is what we call here on the south side, player hating.

again just an opinion.

yeah i get that seth. and im also thinking that Valor has been here about as long as anyone here short of broadband. so i bet every gm for the past 4 or so years has been to that house. yet it still stands.

and for that matter, i know of lots of houses that are gm placed. for one reason or another usually because a rock or tree was just barely in the way or what not of ocurse. theres a house with a personal fenced in gm made mini graveyard, and of course some people here still own entire islands. etc..etc..

but ive been to that house before, well, i have a destiny character actually. and if you actually go look at it, it doesnt appear to be placed as a way of having privelidge or anything, just sorta fits nicely that way and of course couldnt be placed by a normal player so im guessing he either used his gm or asked a gm to do it yeah i really dunno.

and as prodigy said i really cant see what it is hurting. i always thought it was cool as a noob to see things that cant be gotten or cant be done anymore.

but anyways, im not trying to argue or take up for friends, i will always support staff decisions wether i agree or not, staff works for bb, and bb is the reason we get to play, this is just my point of view.

Either way that whole area of land is blocked off and behind a locked door and there is nothin important there but a few houses,and since boats dont work the dock is of no use really except for fishing but most fishers cant get there unless they have a rune or sanct,but im wit drizz w.e staff decides goes

i understand now, when Drizzt esplained. i thought it was a new house, i agree with Drizzt, if it was there long long time ago then it is legal. but still two dumbasses above me

Personally I dont see how its causing any harm, but then again Drizzt since when has 'true vet' been a codeword for 'corrupt GM'? As far as I am aware Valor duped enough to outfit an army and if this is another example of his actions then perhaps it may not be as legal as you assume?

The only other staff member I have seen in that area is Orisus. No comment

haha yeah i understand that but there was a time when valor was well respected and doing great things for obsi. and there were times when there were like 4 people on obsi total all the time so im guessing yeah a lot more stuff was allowed than at present.

and since its been a very long time since he was a gm i doubt it was done with the knowledge that he was doing anything wrong back then. who knows really lol.

and you know valor was a very big influence on a lot of us including me he was really helpful to new players. i will never forget his mage.

he used to sit at the bank with rich and frosthammer and they would give out free shit like it was candy. i would die and get my shadow looted, run back to brit bank naked, get killed/ressed/repeat in town by garr and urza a few times for thier amusement, then rich would ask if i needed another set of shadow, frosthammer would give me a gm bow, and zhad would tell me what to do to the pkers next. and as soon as urza and garr were done reskilling me some more, urza would give me a black robe and id go back out to die again.

i know some guys have ruined their name but some of us remember how nice they used to be before they got bored and/or frustrated. that house to me seems like a landmark since it was placed by him.

but oh well as long as you keep sending me kickass tunes it will be ok boss.

lol...yeah I know valor was respected im just saying that there are two sides to every coin and there are currently too many people in the game with illegal items from rogue GMs.

I am aware that this house may not have been placed with any illegal intent, but the bottom line is (as I see it) these kinds of houses or items are not fair on those players that have obtained their stuff legitimately and do not have access to what can be described at best as 'GM favours'.

Ah well, guess I'd better get recording then

Thats why so many people have quit this shard. They dont have a minute of peace. Someone else is always trying to find something new to complain about it. That house has been there prolly before many of you, but here we have a shard full of staff, (players act as staff most of the time, always trying to bother their neighbor). Instead people why dont you own yor own business and leave others alone and let them have fun. I'm not trying to say that staff should tolerate illegal actions but hello that damn house doesnt bother anyone and ppl get jealous cause they cant have it. Staff shouldnt be so strict sometimes, thats why this shard is losing so many players. Let people have fun and enjoy, this is a game not a jail.
