My friend and I had a house in the game. I have no access to it because I lost the key, and my friend has recently gone off to basic training. Is there no way to change ownership of the house without him being on the computer?

Do you have access to his account. I suppose a GM could transfer it to you, but we'd need to know if thats what the other player wanted.

I have absolutely no access to his account, otherwise I would get on there and transfer ownership the old fashoined way.

Keyrings from vendors still come newbied, but You can only add master
keys to it (which are newbied anyway if created through house sign
menu). And You can't lock/unlock items with keyring, although You can
lock/unlock doors.
