Hehe! I saw this months ago and I've been meaning to do it. In fact, when I get home from work today there will probably be a mailbox-full waiting on me. I know that we get at LEAST one credit card app. a day.
Credit card companies = Lame

The other day I was at the bank depositing my paycheck when the lady at the counter asked if I had my ATM card on me for ID. As I handed her my liscense instead, I said I've never owned a bankcard or creditcard of any kind. However, my wife <who posted above> has 1 credit card with no balance on it for emergencies.
Lady at bank: "That must make things very difficult for you sometimes."
Me: "Not really."
The only people I owe money is my mortage company and I prefer to keep it that way.

Hellz yeah! Owing money is a pain!
Actually, it isn't an emergency, but I'll be paying Broadband our donation with the credit card this afternoon.
The bank lady nagged me about not having an ATM card once too. I told her that as long as you plan ahead and don't spend money on things you don't need, you won't have to stop at the atm everyday. Silly bank lady.

Never owned a credit card and some bank were like :0
No credit card?!?!?! How are you going to build credit?
f*** do I care? I do like a lot of people and plan ahead. Besides, I'm not a big money spender as I am a huge nerd so usually I get lots of money extra from having one job. Easy to plan in advance on those cases.
Stupid credit card companies
Stupid insurance companies
Stupid "government" where the people "decide"...
