Ok, for those of you who don't know me I used to play on this shard like a year and a half ago. I was banned because I told some GM's that I lost skill points and I ended up getting about 11 gm skills over 3 chars. I recently made a new account and was immediately put in jail by Echo after Zaphod welcomed me back (no hard feeling Echo because I understand you have to get consent with everyone else). So I decided to make this post and let the people who know me voice their opinion. I was never a drain on this shard, the reason I was banned as described above was the only thing I did wrong. After I got all my gm skills I wasn't selfish with them either, if any new players remember I used to make them free armor and weapons and go hunting, as well as give them helpful advice about the game. Now that Im done with my argument I want to hear what everyone else has to say.....

It's good to (hopefully) be back.

The guy admitted he done wrong, doesn't ask for his old account back like others. Can it really hurt to give him a shot again?

He didn't loot houses, he didn't exploit coding in the game. He lost some skills (actually did) but got back more than he really lost.

And yeah Vik, I remember, you made a f***** shitload of AR's that you just handed out, you didn't f***** stockpile your shit and tell people how you had so much, you just spread the love!

I would welcome you back only because you wanna start a new account and your not begging for your old 1 back.

So why do you page and says "Im in jail and i dont know why" then?

Its not up to me to decide if you should be allowed back or not, but it seems like you know why you were putted in jail.

well, he was banned for cheating in the first place. then he was allowed to come back, and start new chars. and then rejailed for no "new" reason.

basically, they changed their mind about letting him back after actually letting him come back kinda shitty

I guess he should have assumed a new identity then

Things are getting better around here with holding EVERYONE to the same standards, but it's still far from what it probably should be.

No, that's not a lie. It's called keeping your mouth shut and crawling back to Obsidian under a new alias. But that would keep him from getting back with all his little friends...

I'd say let him back with a fresh account. He's a liar, but he had the integrity and common sense not to try and sneak under the radar or ask for his old account back. And now he's a known liar, so if anything even close to the same situation comes up, his word is worth exactly jack shit, and he should be banned on sight with no questions asked.

Just MHO.

Actually, he tried to tell me he had "never played UO before" so he did try to sneak back under the radar.
