i need to know when, where and how to PK someone, i got looted again in cove and the a-hole laughed about it.... he's dead.

When: Whenever you see him
Where: Where ever you can
How: that’s a tough one. If you’re going to kill him in town, you have to be in a chaos/order guild, and he has to be in one as well. If you’re both not in a chaos or order guild, then you can't kill him inside town without the guards being called on you. Then there are the skills...your skills as a player, and the skills you build as a character. You need to learn both to be really good at PvP. The best way to learn to PvP is to just do it, over and over and over again. The more often you die, the more you learn about the folks killing you, and the tactics and timing that they use.

On obsidian, timing is everything. PvP takes months or even years to master the milliseconds during a fight.

There comes a time in every noob's life where he gets so angry at just one person, he commits himself to training in order to pound that jerk in the face that embarassed him. I think you have hit this point.

It is illigal to kill or loot in most of cove territory. Next time you die and you see someone looting you take a screen shot then staff will jail the person if it is in an illigal place.

Ya, it is illegal to kill and loot in cove, and if you got proof that this happened in cove, this person will be dealt with.

But wouldn't it be better to deal with him yourself? Who is this guy killing you? What are your skills?

If you don’t have poisoning, get some and use lesser poison pots. This will not do much damage, but it might keep your opponent from healing and at the very least, it will take his concentration away from the attack for a second or 2. Use this split second to make yourself a stone wall or E-wall and heal up a little, or recall / RC away if you feel your going to die. If you are going to stay and fight it out, use archery when he is not standing on you, and a BA (your swords, right?) when he is close to you. Carry some heal pots or G heal pots to use when you fail a bandage, but be careful about timing...poison pots and heal pots are on the same timer, so if you use a heal pot, you will have to wait a little bit to use a poison pot, and vice versa. Try and make your opponent do what you want him to do. At the same time you are attacking him, he will be doing the same to you. Throw him off a bit by drinking a regular cure pot (does not cure anything, but gives you dex). He will see this and think you cured, so he will probably try and poison you again, giving you an extra second or so that you otherwise would not have had. Use purple pots to try and direct him a bit. If he sees a purple pot counting down on the ground to his right, he will either move to his left, or pick it up and throw it back at you…use caution with this one...best used on mages. Use the terrain to your advantage. Trees, signs and rocks break line of sight, and his attack...use this when you get in a pinch, at least until your sure you can beat him.


This is just some stuff...there's a lot more, and it takes time to get it all down good. The best advice I can give you is to practice a lot, and do what works best for you. If you are doing something that does not work, try something else. Eventually you will beat him.
