PvM events eg Dungeon Crawls are much better with a Seer, as we can summon additional monsters and (if needs be) ressurect any players in trouble quickly. I used to run quite a few - even did a hot quest with Zaphod, Subcity and used Sir Thomas De'Lacian.

I'll try and organise some more now I got my PC.

Oh, and this thread is cool but would have been better as a poll

We did ours with ease. Just pick a dungeon to suit the amount of people and you won't need to summon more.

If you run a dungeon crawl with 30 players its sometimes easier said than done, and particularly if there is alot of noobs its hard to res quick to keep the tempo up. I like to make dungeon crawls more challenging... you want enough monsters to keep the players occupied, but repeated tough monsters will get the n00bs nuked quickly and make the tougher players angry when they steal the loot (lol). I prefer to make my own up as I go along, just my opinion...but the players have fun either way

Still, I used to do plenty of events like that as a counselor so I'm just being a hypocrite. /me goes away now

that's the thing... i've even seen some guys who stand in the corner (sometimes even in stealth) and when the monster dies they are damn quick to snitch the bag or cash...

Trust me, I can "hang" with one, I just don't see the reason for adding in monsters that drop f****** 1000 vanqs..

Defeats the whole reason I like Obsidian.. It's not a free ride.

Who said it had to drop 1000 vanqs?

i mean like a gradual moster bash leading up to one big monster, and like a good champ it would depend on damage dealt to the final monster to see how much cash prizes u get, with obs system would be insane to script it all but i would like it,

also no explotion of cash piles and i have never done a champ that drops 1000 vanqs, but hey thats just me
