After a few weeks of hard work behind the scenes, I can proudly state that all maintenance is complete and Obsidian is running like a champ once more.

The biggest changes are with the replacement of some routing equipment and a bit of re-wiring. Obsidian can proudly state that it's on a dedicated fiber line and after much testing the speed of the line is at a blistering 10mbit/5mbit pace.

With the upcoming release of Windows Vista next month, we've finished working out the bugs and can safely state that Obsidian is fully Windows Vista capable. There will be no need to download anything additional as CyberVic's patcher will seamlessly upgrade the client on any machine running Vista.

With all this completed and the end of the year, it's now time to look to the future and see what you can expect from Obsidian throughout 2007. We're nearing our 7th anniversary and have plans to finally push out the patch we've been working on along with added dedication to expand the server by Blinkers and myself.

awesome, awesome, awesome man. i can't thank you enough for all your generousity. almost 7 years omg thats rock solid. how many actual game companies can claim that feat.

like i said almost 3 years ago, you keep running it and ill keep playing it boss, thx for the fun times and hope to have many more still. good to see blinkers back in action and really really hope to see vic around again as well.
