My granda fought the germans lol whos hasnt? , my great grandad was killed in africa because there was a bridge and he applied to risk steppin over it to see if their was any mines and he got blew up, i got his medal for that somwhere. I have relations in canada called hannah they settled their donkeys years ago like hundreds lol.

My great aunt died on the titanic, but most of all i think my granda was the famous one well in my eyes. He was born in ballymena in ireland, after the war he played rugby, then became a boss in the national savings, he was the president of the ulster society but he was always worried about the ira, he spoke out against them on the tv and one day a letter came with metal bindings on it. the bomb squd came out n stuff lol. He got an invite from the queen to a garden party, he was offered an OBE but he refused to take it. He moved up where i live and fell ill and ended up in a home where he was badly treat and died in 2004.

yeah if you count military my family tree goes directly back to my ancestors fighting in the civil war . i am english on my dads side but my mothers grandmother was navajo apache.

my dad was in vietnam . all he did was guard planes though. he was an air policeman.

my uncle was in the air force for 30 years he retired a colonel then taught accounting at the university of arkansas till he was 65.

another uncle was killed in vietnam, another fought in korea.

my brother in law has been in baghdad for two years now. he was a marine then a texas ranger then he was a state trooper then he went back in the army when 911 happened. he just got back a few months ago thank goodness. he is an mp now.
