Thats the thing. As of right now sense skill gain is so tedious I've not met anyone. All I have time for is to raise skill. So it's become very boring and unfun within days of playing. I can rember when I first started playing UO it was fun, almost an addiction. Now its just f****** bothersome, Unenjoyable, boring, retarded. I feel this way IMO because skill gain is so long. For me to mine a half an hour to an hour I should get more then 0.1-0.2 gain. And most of the time the gains come one right after the other. Its like the coding is preventing skill from gaining faster then that. I should be able to atleast get 0.5 gain in a skill within an hour. untill I get above 80 or so then it should be hard like it is. Not starting off though. Making skill gain so hard for a noob is kinda chasing people away.

The violent words of others I can handle. Sticks and stones.... I think that this skill gain issue should be put as priority number 2, kepping bugs as the number one concern.

This shard has been around for years. There are MANY UO shards that you can gain skill fast and have 5 all GM char. in a week. They are easy to find. In the time it took you to post this you could have found at least 3. This shard is different (harder to gain0 and thats why some of us like it. Maybe this shard isnt for you? Either way, its silly to get on here and complain about a game that you just started playing and is free :/.

Its true put a little more into it than a few weeks at a half hour a day noone wants it to be insanely easy man... with a half hour a day id think like gm miner smith should take mabey 6 months, and an hour a day 3 months.. something like that even seems pretty difficult BY HAND.. what we have now is alot harder than that it seems.. Though some people do start at 50 its still a large amount of work even then.. Seriously i think if you play a half hour a day in a year you should get a gm miner smith.. But right now you cant do that.. with the time it takes to-- move ore --to sell things --to eat- to buy supplies -to run around to new caves - to avoid pks - 50 other things.. Your just never gonna have one.. I dunno the exact times it takes for stuff.. Other people would have to determine what those should really be if it was decided to make things equal for everyone thats all im proposing..

But noone is saying to make this a 3 week to GM shard.. If people do it the right way and it takes HALF the time it does now It Would Still Take Months and months for people to gm.. Especially to totally gm a warrior or mage.. Hell it almost takes years doing it by hand now.. So yeah saying 3 weeks is just a load of crap for real..
