If your playing from italy there isn't anything you can do to get your ping lower. Unless you can break the laws of physics the speed of light only goes so fast. Also the farther away you are the more routers there are between you and the server and each one adds to your ping.
Also, the type of broadband connection shouldn't have alot of effect on your ping. So long as you arn't on an old dialup modem connection you should be fine.

I find if you shut down alot of your programs my ping goes down and I lag very little. Especially if your downloading

I ping in the 80's usually, but i used to ping in the 20's b4 he moved the server.

i thought the more u used up the bandwidth the less the lag!
(it's a joke--keep your pants on)
anyway...
nothing to do with where u live or so on... ppl in the states still get crap ping... i used to better ping from South Africa before the server moved... it's since then that problems started... and the server can't handle more than 30 players otherwise it starts lagging them all... _________________ Judas [Dark Legacy]
