That is an excellent series......If you like that type of book, perhaps try Robert Jordan's Wheel Of Time series. Or anything by David and Leigh Eddings.

Oh my, I've tried reading that book a zillion times, since I was a child up to recently, and I couldn't, I just couldn't, not my type I guess. Sad.

Steppenwolf is great!

Sidarta by Hesse is also amazing.

Bukowski has to be read too! hehe
I haven't read Siddharta yet, but I am currently reading "The Glass Bead Game", not easily, but delighted

On the other hand: Bukowski, Burroughs, Vonnegut ;)

If you like fantasy, this is a MUST READ. (Set aside time, like after work on a friday, because you will not put the book down until you finish. ^^)

Author: George R.R. Martin
Series: A Song of Ice and Fire

Book 1: A Game of Thrones
Book 2: A Clash of Kings
Book 3: A Storm of Swords
Book 4: A Feast of Crows

More to come, WOHOO!

I like fantasy and sci-fi with some horror thrown into the mix.

special notes to: Ender's Game, The Tommyknockers, The Lottery, And the Star Wars book series by Timothy Zahn (Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, Heir to the Empire featuring Grand Admiral Thrawn, best Star Wars villan ever!)

Fave would be The Collector by John Fowles (old school, but a good book). Also if you are into plays, The Tragical History of Dr Faustus by Christopher Marlowe is awesome. Everyone knows shakespeare but that shit is good.

the last book would be probably the drizzt do'urden ones mentioned above. I'd read them years ago, but I couldnt find them so I bought new copies from Amazon and read the whole series back to back and enjoyed every minute.

yeah i pretty much have everything salvatore has written i buy it as soon as i see it. all the drizzt books are good and so are his others i really enjoyed the highwayman personally.

the war of the spider queen series is simply amazing inspired by salvatores world written by a different auther each book it really owns.

i met a guy who was in a wheelchair at the bookstore not long ago he was very chatty but nice and he told me how cool the wheel of time series was so i bought a few. i used to play the video game a few years ago and i guess i just never got around to checking the book out till now.
