How about it's not worth it at all..

I presume you'de tinkering them? Which takes 3 ingots, only with
smithing you should be able to get ~12gp per ingot if you choose to
craft for sale. IOW Tinkeringz is teh complete fail. Plus, ya buy bottles
at ~6gp from teh Herbalists. It's going at ~120 per reg run now.
