I have tried many times to open and reinstall obsidian with my windos vista computer here at work. Yet Everything works great until the 303 patch wants to update. The second I click to look for patch off obsidian window ..... vista tells me its not functioning anymore... as it asks me to look online for a solution it just shuts down... ??? wtf can a person do? The failure descritiption is a CLR20r error or somethiing yet i dont knwo wtf that means. Is anyone able to help me on this?? besides changing compatability didnt work tried it. :(

try these

turn off Windows Firewall/Defender and try deleting the uo.conf
There should be a Desktop folder in your obsi dir. Delete it.

1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Locate obsidian.exe
3. Right click it and click the Properties option.
4. Select the Compatibility tab.
5. Select the Run This Program in Compatibility Mode option.
6. From the drop-down list, choose the operating system you ran before upgrading to Vista. (win98, win2000, or xp should work)
7. Click OK and try running Obsidian again.

or you could try to re-install if that don't work

Could try manually executing patches which it has problems with.

Nah chips bro its my medical clinic... i wouldnt block myself hehe. Either way I have this new awesome laptop yet its being gay cuz wheni have no patients i dont have crap to do.

the compatability ordeal and deleting uo.cnf.... disabling all that stuff didnt work.... when i dl the patch do i make a folder or just put it in obsidian folder??? where it go???/ DAMN THING STILL WONT WORK GAA
