There you guys go again ruining another crafting skill by selling to cheap. I would agree with 8k, but for 5k? I wouldn't sell them for that if every second fish i caught was a str. Not even worth the time or effort.

That's completely up to you but for 5k each i wouldn't even bother fishing for them and you know that once ppl get an idea what they think something is worth on obs it's hard to sell them at any other price. You are just going to end up kicking yourself in the ass in the long run.

Belgarion, you do have a point. The main reason I sell my fish so cheap is because of the dwindling player base. Alot of the noobs dont want to hunt all day to just end up being pk'd and lose all of their hard earned gold. 10k for a str fish to them is way too much.
Very often have I had noobs ask me for str fish and tell them my price of 10k, which they turn down. Seemed that all of my fish went to older players with gold coming out of their asses.
Back when I started, everyone wouldnt quit because of the price of things but thats how it seems things are going now. Im sure alot of people will dissagree with me doing this but im hoping it will pick things up for the newer players and eventually see great players come out of it.
I dont want to beat a dead horse here, but with the fact that there is no admin work being done to fix the shard and the older players dissapearing day after day, I dont want to be on a shard with nothing but players that start up for a week and give up and move to another shard where things could be easier. I love this game and I want it to thrive through these rough times and someday *crosses fingers* all of the bugs will be fixed and players new and old will see how much potential and greatness this shard has to offer.
So to sum things up; I sell my fish dirt cheap. Others wont. The going price will always be 10k up and they will always sell. Its not like I have an unlimited supply of fish and supply is always on demand. If anything, this will give me more motivation to fish. So its an all around good thing.
Might as well let this offtopic thread die off now.
