I would first like to start off by thanking all the players who have chosen to keep trying the pet protection potions, which were released as a beta item, with the risks that went along with them.

That being said, there have been complaints from staff and players alike that the current return system was too slow and took up too much of (mostly echo's) staff time, so we have tried to work to create a more automated one until the potions themselves are fixed.

If your ride poofs from being pet protected, please enter the blackish grey portals that are now available in the runestone chamber, or in the center area of the town wind to retrieve it.

This will take you to a special area set aside for retrieving pet protected mounts. They will appear there a few minutes after they die, sometimes instantaneously. You will be able to mount it and ride out through a portal to either wind or britain.

Now please note, even though your pet remains tamed when it dies, it will go wild after around 24 hours of being left alone, so try to retrieve your ride immediately. If it is left there to go wild, other players will be allowed to come and tame it.

no you actually have to be on the ride when it exits the gate or else it just poofs back in.
