Hello everyone!!

So, I am completely new to Ultima Online, but would like to try out this shard. I haven't purchased a copy of Ultima Online yet, can I use a copy of the Original game (from 1997) to play here, or do I need a newer version? If I have a copy from 1997 can it be updated to a new enough version so that I can then play here with it?

welcome, you dont need anything installed to play here since before... i dunno how it is with copyrigth rules. i got a old cd with uo aswell but the cd is long gone scratched enough to be not working anymore. Just download the client and it will be allright, Obsidian is based on a very old client aswell. the only way hehe

someone else might know more about this and fill in too...?
