Welp, this weekend I am house-sitting at my parents-in-laws and I thought I might bring along a certain Obs installer file with me since I'm going to be bored out of my fricken mind. It looks like now I have a task worthy of my time!

So... What's the going price these days for Str fish on demand?

tried to load up Obs on my parents-in-law computer and it was slooooow...

that and they had like a fricken years worth of updates to do. also, on dial-up.

what's really sad is that I built that machine for them. of course, that was 2003 and it was my "cast-off" rig...

having said that, yeah, I guess all of the fishers have gone away. it's sad since it's obviously good money. oh, wait. I'M a fisher! at least my character Gorton ("Trust the Gorton fisherman!" old TV commercial in the states) is...

i will try to do some fishing tonight even though I am pretty tired. also, I usually only charge 10k for STR on my vendors and, yes, it seems DEX are dropping. I used to charge 4k but have been slowly dropping the price on them...yep, good call on the 3k...

ANYHOOOOO. I'll see what I can do. I have to check my beer supply and maybe have a smoke. (kids: smoking is bad for you and is not endorsed by Obsidian)

but, damn...if I'm one of the few fishers out there... boy, do I have my work cut out for me! Whew!

Ok... This past week I've put in several hours of fishing and have come up with tons of stuff but...only 3 fricken STR fish. And those are still uncooked! Grrrrr...

I still have to learn my lesson of not trying to get one type of fish. I don't know if it's the fricken Force or what but it seems that I never get whatever it is that I really want. It's like my thoughts impact the random number generators on computers or something. But in the wrong way.

Heh. I recommend editing your post to say that you need 100 INT fish. That is the only way I see myself getting out of this mess...

Seriously though, I do have a bunch of raw fish back at our house to cook. I'm currently trying to radically change my system for "fishing runs" along with focusing on really sitting down to finally get the last 4 or 5 points to GM cooking. Besides a shiat-load of various colored small fish, a bunch of unidentified fff, the 3 STR and a few INT I have several (15+ maybe?) DEX fish.

However, I hope that whatever rollback might occur will not set me back too far on my catch amounts. Hopefully, I wont have to go all emo THAT much. Hell, in compensation for my potential loss, maybe BB will send me one of those mounted fake rubber fish that wiggle around while they sing old pop songs. Oh, and I will probably lose thousands of each reg...which i hunt3d 4...or something...

i would have posted something about super long posts in the forum suggestion thread but some jack-mule(s) caused it to be shut down.

perhaps have a character limit that would truncate peoples posts (a-hem...ME) and then provide a "more" hotlink if people wanted to read the rest?

that would encourage certain people (a-hem, ME) to make their point quickly and then provide others the opportunity to read more.

back on point: i've been offline for the last few days so i'm going to try this new patch thing and...oh...i see the server is down...heh...
