Wow, I used to play on obsidian waaaaay long time ago, 02??? Ghhhhhhost and a few others... and when fishing for stat fish =O.

Glad to see its still around im guessing its new people since the old obsidian was shut down originally? at least from what i remember.

Anyways back to my question, how long will it be before i can make an account?

uh, obsidian has never had a wipe i dont think. im pretty sure you can pm a staff member and they will create you an account. we are still in heavy beta atm from a client upgrade but still yeah check with staff they will help you. try echo or bob they are both gms cheers.

Yeah I think I can adjust, I have missed how UO and Obsidian ran how an MMO SHOULD be. So I am very happy to find that obsidian is up and running still ^^.

And yeah, it was never wiped, I just remember back then at one point they decided to shut down for awhile, came back, shut down again and thats when I kinda moved on. I never was able to find it again till now.

I had a few characters though I am trying to remember which ones I did use, at the time I was playing Obsidian I was also playing on oblivion. I do remember that my main was apart of the big crafters guild during the time (I was a blacksmith). I want to say TLC, however, I really cant say for sure. My memories of the time are fond, but I do remember some of what I did during then. I had an old compaq, when I was playing then, ive since moved on to three or four system upgrades so im having trouble sourcing screenshots and old info.

If I remember correctly, there was also someone else... who used to run this, unless its been bb all along. I just remember the last time I had seen obsidian up was during x-mas and they had an image running. blah, i must be getting old cause my memory is a blur haha.

But I do know in early 2000-2002 some shut downs did happen. unless im thinking of another shard going by the same name!

i think hephs smithy guild was called STA or something like that wasnt it. quite a few pple are still here who were in it anyways. i was around then but i hate crafting even though i did finally make a smith a few years ago.

another really cool guy i remember who's smith char was his main was called rich.
