omfg u guys r seriously mad, i know its all about supply and demand but 8.5k for a str fish!!!!!!!! People were sellin em cheaper than that pre patch!!! I keep seein people sellin pots + stuff for pre patch prices pretty much!!! You all need to wise up n stop buyin fish etc at stupid prices n they will have to fall, whats the point wipin out everyones gold if ur all gonna pay the same price for things as you did before.

Drive a hard bargain, after a while the sellers will have to give way cos they want the cash as much or maybe more than you want the fish/item.

1)any lower then that i would just eat them cuz i need all them on sub more then i need money atm. so NO it wouldn't force me to lwoer the price, it would force them not to get fish

2) if the average price for a str fish was 10k pre patch, and it's 10k a fish again (even tho it's 8.5) why are you complaining? you said your self people are selling things pre patch price, and mine is cheaper. and ready to order in amounts.

3) why you come on my thread just to ruin my sales? obviously no one else besides irori is really selling in any good amounts thus they buy from us, go GM fishing and fish for hours for like 3 str fish, then you go and sell them for less then 8 k... until then stfu

i'm complainin cos all the gold has been wiped n cos of people bein mad the prices are gettin artificially inflated again. I didn't mean to attack u personally or hijack ur thread/ruin ur sales so sry about that.
I just mean generally that people need to stop payin pre patch prices for anything. U and other people r sellin stuff cos obviously u want the cash. At the moment it's a buyers market as gold levels are so low but none of the buyers are using there power to get a good deal. If everyone sits tight the price will have to come down across the board for everything. Wtf was the point of nukin all the gold if everyone is willing to pay pre-patch prices for stuff?

I will probably never GM fishin cos it's too damn borin and i can't logon much so the time i can i dont wanna be numbin my brain. I've got nothin but respect for all u guys with GM fishin, i seriously dunno how u managed it. That being said ur inflating the prices, who set them at around 8-10k since the patch?? It's like TLC sayin 2k for a horse all over again, a cartel banding together plucking a price out've the air and price fixing. The knockon effect is that prices for everything are increased cos people want to raise cash to buy ur stuff. I'm not attackin u personally btw i mean everyone who is sellin stuff at the moment, nothin seems to have changed much even though we're all skint.

If str fish were at 2k say, would it matter as long as you could buy at least the same amount of whatever u wanted as pre patch?

The inflation pre-patch really wasnt that bad, the most extreme was probably NS (which i can recall you selling plenty of). But really not everybody is poor anymore (people that play at least) i could name 10 people that already have over 100k. And still even almost everything is cheaper... the prices will just rise again to meet demand with an increase of players. The only reason NS got so bad in the first place was because somebody (Azimuth i think?) started buying mass amounts at 30gp each, then nobody would sell it for less, then everyone started hoarding it and selling it 50-80k for 1k.

Str fish will undoubtedly still go for ~10k or even more unless they make str fish alot easier to catch and cook.

2k Str fish is unreasonable because in the time it took to sell 10 str fish at 2k each, you could easily hunt 5x that...

EDIT: BTW they nuked gold because of the several INACTIVE players with like 50+ mill
