When I trained anat I just bit the bullet and let intel gain. Lost alot of str and dex, but that was cheaper than a boat load of -int.

lmao @ jiza, ya u cant just go around playing to gain i think u gotta actually sit there and train stuff now lol
but ya, seems the best just not to train it, lots of peopel dont even pvp no more, and i doubt it gives u that much of a definitive advantage in pvp or pvm anyway,
but ya either prepare to lose 25 -int pots and basicly all ur str until 90 str
or gett like 100 -int ready so u dont drop str lolz
both options suck for the gain...

Well i have gmed it now, but i lost in total i think 20 dex and 32 str and used 18 - int to get it back down to where it should be. I got my dex back to where it was but fishing really sucks now so i can only stand to do it a little at a time. I have 2 gm mages now and crafters that are gmed in almost every crafting skill possible and anatomy turned out to be the most expensive to train.

Dude, it's like I was telling GMbob. Magery gaining is bugged.. it has to be. Because when I run .skilltest, all level 6 spells tell me "this is too easy to gain", and I "do not have the ability" to even cast level 7 spells. Now wtf am I supposed to do? LOL Like I said... I've mentioned it to him, it just obviously hasn't been fixed yet.
I think it MAY have something to do with when a skill gets into the 60s? Because my magery is 65.4 and also my healing is 63.9 and I've gone through hundreds of bandages since this began and no gain.

i think healing is one that u can get done really without training because u use healing everyday,
but as for magery i unno what to tell you jiza just try casting higher spells for now when u hunt lol
im glad im GM

There are so many skills i am glad i gmed back in the day, magery is only one of them. To be honest i wouldn't even bother trying to make a new mage it is far too much of a pain in the ass now, and the reward is nowhere near the effort.
