It can be tamed. The point of the prize is that a person without a tamer can win it, or a person with a tamer can win it without risking life and limb to tame one.

Oh and it's a dog that cast spells like a litche but also fights like a grizzly but strounger and it's tamed and shrunken I won it at an event earlyer today if you want I can show you when I catch you online

I would say it is worth a little bit of coin cuz i had to go through hell to get those. If i wasn't gm stealth on my tamer it could not have been done.
