Judas - if you can't say something nice then just stay out. My patience for this all is running thin. A few years ago I made everyone very aware of which runes were illegal to have. Those who have the runes currently and more than likely well aware of what they've done.

I didn't get jailed for anything, but I agree with euro. Sounds pretty retarded to get jailed for something you didn't know about, and having to pay the price for someone elses mess up.

Sorry mate but what I said is true and even Azimuth (long time enemy) agreed with me. If your patience is running thin, well... relax more, but that doesn't mean players won't show their opinion in order for you to keep your patience or whatever. I won't say something nice if something nice isn't there to be said.

I love how everyone, or rather a few specific people, are always quick to claim staff are soooo unfair or are out to get them.
Get over yourselves.

I go out of my way to be fair and just, and i think almost everyone on here can agree they'd rather deal with me than jorus, broadband, or even cv when it comes to getting in trouble with the rules. I don't do stuff without reason, and i don't jail people who don't break the rules.

The particular runes that got jail time this time are either gained through complete bug abuse, or people have been warned not to have publicly in forum announcements in the past. So suck it up, move on, and lets try to not have them from here on out. If you have a special case i'm sure echo will listen and give you due consideration, so don't think we're just unfair judges on high.

i totally agree with Bob and Echo on this (yea fah q i aint suckin up) ive been waiting for the day when something like this would happen and players that cheat to get stuff they shouldnt have or stats they shouldnt have gotten is bullshit and been going on for a fair amount of time... so if your in jail and you have a good case to get out dont friggin worry... although i do wish the jail time for stat bug was a bit longer... since like bane i have gotten a week like jail time for something far less.... but w/e least people will maybe start playin by the rules

Why do you always mention jorus, broadband, and cv when saying there harsher than you are? I've yet to see any of them online in-game since I've been on this shard (except for broadband, whom I've seen 2 times (he's the owner btw))

Why keep them as staff? (cept for bb). Why not recruit new staff? (I know your gonna say "oh blah blah blah hard to train them blah blah blah don't have time to teach the how we want things blah blah")

Maybe if you hire someone to help you script, we could get out of our 1 year beta and actually begin to start playing again. You'll probably again say "it takes to long to teach someone how "I" want things to be done around here, so it'll be easier to do it myself." If you started to teach someone b4 you did the switch, I'm pretty sure we'd be a heck of alot closer to being finished then we are now.

Hit the nerve there... But it's nice to point out the truth from time to time. I can foresee some comments about Spawn and I having 'attitude' or 'just criticizing', but that's besides the point if it's the truth.

The truth is:

1) Bob claims to need to do things alone (no reason given except possible code theft?);
2) We must just thank him kindly for his efforts (which are many, I do admit);
3) Our many comments on the system are refuted with the everlasting argument "BB wants it that way" (does he?);
4) There seems to be a lot of perfumery and gadgets but real problems are still pertinent;

Attitude is how you present, it regardless of the facts of your point, and you know that, which is why you used such a bad argument.

1. I'm the only one broadband has trusted with code access, and that was after years. Even blinkers never got direct access. So regardless of my personal feelings on the topic, we're not getting another coder. At least not for anything major. The staff who can script and have time have still be doing what little stuff they can.

2. Not required to thank me, just i'd prefer it to comments that don't help.
3. If ya doub tme go ask him yourself, some of the stuff he puts in i particularly dislike(as i said, i argued with him for an hour to get stockpiles on houses as high as they are)
4. I'm working as fast as i can on them. A lot of the gadgets are stuff i do to prevent burnout from working on big systems all the time.

Show me the attitude in the post presented... My argument is not a bad one since you just confirmed everything I said above.

Let's just sum this up for the kids (the argument which you have agreed to even though you made it sound like you were explaining something):

1) There are no other coders because of x reason;
2) If there are no other coders players can only rely on you;
3) If players argument is refuted for x reason, players argument is useless; (leading to a logical conclusion that the x factor should be addressed);
4) Perfumery and gadgets exist (to take the edge off), real problems are being worked on but cannot be rushed to the lack of coders which cannot be addressed due to the x factor;

Consistent enough?

People can deduce what the x factor is, but to find it out you gotto talk to Broadband.
