I think it's a terrible idea sorry.

I think people need to test by using the same characters that everyone else would be using. Giving a select few access to this kind of power would be great for maybe the first time they log in, but the majority of people putting up their hand to help out aren't that active and it would just become a pointless project.

I think everyone's capable of testing things the way they are now. Adding in this beta tag idea might unbalance the economy (demand and supply) of the shard and might influence others areas that we can't even think of.

It'd be nice to see everyone thinking about it from that angle rather than being so quick to put up their hands.

i thought all these messures would be kindaa put in b4 hand

like of course the rate of someone catching str fish shouldnt be changed

but i was thinking changes like, certain gumps popping up while crafting instead of the normal gumps
and changes such as that,,,,
but i might be wrong

long as it
1) doesnt give people advantage economically
2) give advantage/ change the pvp system for them

besides that im all for it

its kinda hard to motivate oneself to do very much with rollbacks being fairly common, but i do agree about it unbalancing the economy didn't even think of that kinda thought it was only for 2 days what it sounded like ne ways, also sounded like only people with the good of the shard in mind would be allowed.

I think its a good idea,to a certain extent,I think these characters, should be playing in custom areas, and once it had an item of some sort it would be no longer tradable.Something like that,I liek the idea, but I can see where duck is coming from.

Anyways I have one char spot left,so I wouldnt mind trying it out.

Could be interesting.
I'm sure Bob has taken all of these concerns into account. Which is probably the reason for the "good standing" requirement.

If deemed to be in good standing I would be happy to help in any way I can.

ok maybe everything the beta character makes has a beta tag after it and after the testing it disappears

BUT this beta thing can be turned on and off, so when someone wants to test or w,e turn it on test give data, off go back to playing normally

just the items they craft shouldnt be um sellable how do u say,
