this option isnt offered if you log on dead. We should have a command to bring up death options since half the time people crash and am unable to res via ressing in britain. Or if you die carrying something you cant pick the options since ur holding something. Could there be a command for bringing the death options back up?

There are healers in all towns and ankhs scattered around all of Britania.

It would be a decent idea though...sometimes it says unexpected function and closes and other times something else.
I can see that being a problem at times in the depths of a dungeon and someone is coming that may loot your body or some other extenuating circumstance where it is not possible to visit an ankh.

But in vesper...c'mon lol....if you can't get a res....walk it out.

The immediate problem i can see with buttons is that it allows for certain situations where you can force a res in areas you otherwise wouldn't normally be able to resurrect in.

So if we do that, we'd have to add an option where you cannot res in any spot but the one you died in.

How about make it so that when you die it drops a stone beside the corpse on the ground that only the person who died can see. In order to access the menu to ress in 5 mins, you have to click the stone. When the corpse decays...the stone decays with it.

I dont really like the idea of just being able to rez yourself in five minutes... There HAS to be a penalty, maybe pay 10k? or 1k, THEN wait 5 minutes?

The 5 mins ress can only be used once per day....I don't think that will unbalance anything.

It says it can be used only once per day when you attempt to use it.
It may state as much somewhere in the change logs as well...who knows.

Alright so is everyone ok if this is just for a command for the 5 minute res, and NOT the whole death menu?
