there's an old scam involving this and giving people change that we we needed to know back when I was doing retail sales....that was about 16-17 years ago though, and i can't remember it to save my life...

My modern algebra prof would agree

In universe x where addition is defined by add the numbers up then also add the number of numbers that was added this would be a true statement


Anywhere else besides a modern algebra classroom however and this is a false statement
