You know... If you were up to it... Seriously, though, a little personal touch isn't such a bad idea. It could lend an actual human element to the whole thing. And then...you could, and would, post your findings and impressions. Hell, video the damn encounter. "A Tour Of Obs" if you will. Show the people and the machine. And then a thanks and a hand shake and then... :/ If things are to end, it would be the better than nothing...

Just quit bitching and set something up if you want more people to play. A tournament, a guild war, just something to get people playing and more buying/selling. Gameplay itself is fine, there are only a few things that need to be changed, along with account registration and the domain.
More people will be interested in playing if there are other people playing. I'll play. I'll even be nice and not loot anyone I kill out of town (unless they piss me off) or polymorph.

Ven...you make a good point... The thing about virtual worlds...at least these days...is player created content. Is there anyone up for a little collaboration on a player run event? Or are there so few left that it would be pointless? :/

I was just thinking the same thing. I guess the patient really is dead, eh? I mean...with so few people, there's even no point in someone like me trying to come back in and do stupid things like fish and sell them w/ a vendor. I imagine the economy is broken as to be essentially not dead because there just isn't one. Again...very sad... And it was a long slow death that didn't have to be. Don't want to rehash why that is but it would involve certain people taking an honest look at themselves and asking what would be best for the shard instead of what would be best for themselves. But...you all already know this...

So, where do you guys also hang out? Cause I wouldn't be surprised if certain someone(s) just pulled the plug on the shard and the message boards in a drunken snit one night.
