So this, compared to any other skill of any other race, is the only skill that actually fails, and it fails a lot.

It should be like all the other skills that should work and that's it.

If it works everytime, it would make them OP. It would be insta death to most everyone once they get down to half HP. I can hit -48 with a pfork and then use the skill right away and hit an extra -65. The misses even everything out.

You can't use the skill right away what are you talking about, plus have you tried on a mage with full AR and RA? It doesnt hit that hard.

I think that is the only skill that is useful for dark elves..

Other raceskills sux, plus dark elves can't control animals nor monsters at all.

And I remember bob told me once that the older dark elf you are, the less chance you fail.. But I think that I am the oldest dark elf who has done the quest "I know Sylva is older but I'm talking about the quest" and I seem to fail like once out of 10 times..

So I would say make the failure chance a little bit lesser

thats probably why the cooldown is so fast compared to other races

Yeah but humans dont have a "hit this button for extra damage" skill. Humans don't have anything besides the skill penalty

You can't use summons, nor get buffs, beside the rest of the skills aren't useful.. so it's only the Coupe De Grace thing..

And FYI humans are very balanced, because u can train whatever you want.

Throat rip doesn't silence a mage from casting spells?

Anyway, I don't think coupe de grace should be a random/unreliable ability. I think the hit chance should match the hit chance of any other Auto Attack but reduce the damage of Coupe De Grace.

Could make Coupe De Grace a raceskill (like snowball) and once given a target, the damage is dealt 2 seconds after and have it say "Paul is preparing Coupe De Grace"

OR

Coupe De Grace could be changed to do more damage depending on the targets current health - does less damage they are at a low % of HP. Could have it do 5 damage + 20% damage of the targets current health.
