I'm just saying it's not a problem with the patcher. I wish people would stop flamming about the patcher when there's not really problems with the patcher. If you get illegal operations or excetions THAT is a problem with the patcher. IF you are having problems with a certain patch patching that isn't a problem with the patcher, but rather probably a problem with either the webserver (which just got rebooted for the first time in 4 weeks) or a problem with your connection (aka you need to enter proxy settings).

Wtf?! Whats up with all these patches? When i try to log in it starts saying patching 303-1,-2,-3,-4,-5,etc.. and ive been waiting... forever!! How many are there???


(I feel bad for making my first post somewhat of a complaint :( )

I've had no problems with any of the patching side of things on my machine at home so i'm happy. BUT :) Do you think we might be able to play this game behind nasty firewalls at work without getting certain ports open. I was kinda of hoping that the proxy part of the patch may enable me to connect but i've just tried it and it didnt help me. I know i should be working before you say anything :P

Ummm well I've made changes to the patcher server to work through proxies if your connection requires it, but ACTUALLY getting UO working through a connection that blocks the port that Obsidian runs on, sorry there's nothing we can do. You can't expect us to provide a gaming service to someone's work.
