We are 100% Finished now! The final issue we were running into had to do with our somewhat unstable hacker checker that would at times completely lag the game or make it unavailable for you guys. This has been fixed with a newly released version and the shard will be online indefinately. Thanks for the patience

The last few weeks have been very bumpy because we have taken the opportunity to upgrade or add many things to the shard. Many of these things were required and others were long due. Here are just some of the massive changes we've made lately:

*Anti-Hacker Filter Installed
*New Obsidian 3.0 Patch
*New Obsidian Patcher
*Server moved to a new location with faster connection
*Many More.

I would like to now announce that from the best of my knowledge 95% of all the upgrades are done and functioning properly. This means the shard should once again be as stable and secure as it was a few weeks back. A few of you might still have problems, and there are still some things being worked on with the server, however everything is running smoothly again.

I ask that you spread the word to all your friends and family so Obsidian gets back up to the 100+ players online we once had. I know many people have taken breaks due to school ending or other personal reasons, but for those of you who were sitting back waiting for the shard to fully stabalize. Well now it the time! So get back in and we'll see you ingame!

If you are *still* having problems with the patcher please private message Cybervic in the forums and he will be more then happy to help you out!

This is by far the securest setup that any free UO shard has. Even if it's kinda buggy, it's great, so everyone go woot!

With the new encryption you HAVE to use the obsidian T3A client, due to the change in the way the datafiles are stored.
Due to the update system, you have to use the patcher to even connect.
Due to the patcher, you can't run illegal 3rd party programs.
Gotta love redundant fail systems.
