Because of the sudden influx of new users we have seperated the patch server and the web server. Now all patches downloaded through the patcher are downloaded through a seperate server on a faster connection. Hopefully this will resolve some issues we were running into.

If for some reason your patcher isn't working...download the latest obsidian.exe from: http://www.obsidianshard.com/patcher/obsidian.exe and place it in your Obsidian/UO Directory and run it.

Thanks for your patience guys I think the 3.0 update is finally finished and stable.

**On a side note the message boards were getting seriously lagged when people went into the buy and sell forum. This has been resolved so sell away!**

with the exception of me...
i get to the acct part type my pass in and when i hit enter to continue it crashes just a regular run of the mill crash nothing special... plz help me!

Right click and select Save as to properly download it. Your browser might be trying to run the exe over the internet and hence the error.

Patcher broke obsidian. now it just exits when i launch and the patche generates a memory error. yay me.
