I'm sorry for the shortness of this post but I just took 2 shots of everclear and it's really starting to hit me Anyways sorry for the downtime, we just upgraded the client making it more reliable with less crashes *crosses fingers*
Feel free to respond to this post and tell me if it seems more stable.
Thanks!

I see that there are well over 20 people online. So something is working right.
But alas, not for me.
Here is what I get when starting up Obsidian:
Please wait while patcher verifies Obsidian is online......LONG TIME then
Falure to ping Obsidian SErver. Try to Login, but it might be down.
The news and status pages take a LONG time to load up.
I try to login anyway:
connecting.............
Couldn't connect to Obsidian:T3A. Please try again in a few moments.
I'm going to bed. I'll try it in the morning. I did get in for a bit earlier tonight right when BB started to look at things and had access to donor area! thanks!

i had no trouble at all logging in. maybe a small bit longer on the "connecting" screen but nothing that stood out. also it didnt crash nearly as fast as usual. but it did crash. i stayed in the area i logged in on purpose to test. thats how to avoid the crashes. as soon as you log in, rune or recall completely out of the town/area. then youre ok and are free to go back or whatever you wanna do. dunno why this is but the workaround definately works. if i dont crash before i am able to get out of the area i log in , i dont crash at all. if i stay in the town/area i log in, i crash everytime. not too much trouble to rune in and out real quick till its fixed. one thing i need to note, logging out in town doesnt seem to me to be the cause of crashes. it does it anywhere not just town. hope this helps. thx for working so hard on it bb btw. i know its a lot of work. we are with ya all the way mate.

Having problems with the client..
It can't connect after the login and password verfication screen.
Patcher fails to ping the server as well
Was working fine just 6 hours ago. Fresh installation downloaded the patches fine and everything but fails at login as well. I see people logging in and out on server status so I guess it still works fine.
Was the login server addressed changed or anything? (btw I'm one of those with stupid proxy server problems..).

It's your proxy giving him old data. Some times people who have a proxy use the old downloaded data instead of the new connection info. Nothing we can do about it.
Try clearing out your internet files with Windows/Internet Explorer then rebooting
If that doesn't work give it a day for your proxy delete the old out of date connection info it seems to have cached.

yeah i get the same connection error, i did have the proxy problem too
Also the crashes only seem to happen in places that are custome built or where lots of people have logged out, have you ever tohught of using a logout system where players are teleported away after logout?

I enter in my password, hit Enter, and it gets stuck on the "Connecting" screen, followed by, "OBSIDIAN.EXE is not responding".
