There are tons of things to do besides banksit. Quests are just not as often as like a pay shard. I mean you can be go exploring, find bugs, hunt with friends, kill the dragon, and just go at your own pace. I always like killing the dragon and collecting wepons and armors. Its alot more fun when you start to make friends so you can do things like minning or hunting together. But I got too addictided and like gmed every skill I could. I also enjoyed pking people and going to like prymids. But you kinda make your own fun becuase people enjoy different things. Some like mineing over hunting.

pfft u missed the day lord british showed up and his daughter was getting married. Now that quest was fun *she got kidnapped* i got like 300 of each reg on that quest and like 10k gold and a trophie aswell

i hardly ever banksit, and u know wot, thats why i keep coming back for more, cos i am always doing something, be it hunting for weapons or egs for pots, building up cash, mining for my guild and self (boring), or fishing for some cool fff and stats (super boring) or taming anaimls ( cool). wotever, its all good.
No offence to the hardcore banksitters,(looking at avatar, wizz, blade) but ya missing so much! SO MUCH!

I bank sit, but it's always with a purpose....the bank is the best place to sell the stuff I fish up. It?s also the best place to buy or trade for armor and regs. Lots of people might not like the bank sitters, but ya can learn a lot about the other people on the shard....who you can trust, who are assholes, who I need to watch out for, who I can and can't kill, exc....Almost everyone on the shard passes by the bank at some point.

Bank sitting has its good and bad points, but if you think it's just chat then you need to start reading some of that chat to learn what?s really going on. Richard Garret once said that UO is nothing but a giant social experiment....If this is the case the bank could be considered a catalyst....I.E., a necessary ingredient for the rest of the experiment to continue smoothly.

hey im not talkin bout you guys, i bank sit some times too, when training or lookin for stuff to buy/sell etc or waitin on someone,

yeah it is a social experience a large one at that, after i been huntin or tamin or stuff like that i like to chill at the bank , but not constantly that would be more boring than mining

id like to be bank sitting now ,at least id be on the game lol i am bored to tears, had a REALLY shitty 10 hours at work(infact hell i think) fininshed at midnite and for once id love to bank sit lol

It's a shame there couldn't be a meeting place better than vesper - where both reds and blues can go to meet and not worry about dying when a random mage feels like 'practising'.

Maybe something like a marketplace where people can buy and sell stuff - and get that social interaction they need when they go to vesper(bank-sitting)

I bank sit a bit - but only to build a few skills while I buy and sell some stuff as well as meeting new people.

I only banksit so much during the day cos of work.. and banksit at night cos I never quite know if/when I'll be popping out :p

nothing wrong with banksitting, except that people can kill you in town now. getting out of hand really, town should be a safe place to go, not a graveyard like it was the other night. 10 bodies all over vesper


killing in town should be jail time for an hour
