Gee you know i kinda liked your server to start with it was fun but i got kinda screwed on the fact that the server was down when I signed up so i kinda miss a week of not dying time . Which is no bug deal but then as I'm trying to build my characters I see to be looted no matter where I go, even the places where looting was forbidden. So thanks for the fun! Enjoyed the first few days! Cya!

You just need to know where to go. Weaker Pk's have a tendancy to attack weaker characters the guys you are having to deal with are probably wanna be Pk's. Most of the Veteran Pk's don't kill newbs. IM me when you are on and you can go on dungeon runs with me if you like.

yeah I've on dungeon runs with guys that say the same thing, on offence but they just wait for me to die then loot my body and take off. I mean I like the game but It seems silly to me that the things that I want in the game like stealing and snooping and the bard skills are turned off, but ppl are allowed to break all the other rules that have been set out. I've even had my miner character looted in the cove! Any the money and equipment aren't the point it's the one step foward two steps back that takes away from the fun.

Man who have you been on dungeon runs with. You have not gotten a decent sampling of the Veterans here at Obsidian.

My advice would be to stay the hell out of cove. To many wannabes there.

Ya, this shard has it's share of assholes, but the majority of people here are nice folks.
Don't get too discouraged about being looted...everyone on the shard has been looted. Hell, I was looted 2 steps away from vesper bank about a week ago. I lost about 25K worth of fish. It happens....just remember that all loot on obsidian is replaceable...this shard is less about what items your character has and more about your character.
As I said, don?t get too discouraged about being looted...save the discouragement for when you hit the stat cap :~

I just learned to find places that nobody goes, and then train there. Also, never have anything on you that you can't afford to lose.

Don't train at cove...I made that mistake...it's too hard to train well, and there always seams to be someone stalking?Waiting to loot.
Head through the moon gate and find a GY that is abandoned (avoid the vesper GY as well...it might look abandoned, but it is on the route from jail to the bank, and a few screens away from the PK bridge). I would recommend Jehlom or Yew. Moonglow GY is also good, but it has a tendency to spawn the rogue LL that can quickly put an end to a good training day. Brit is OK, bit gets a fair amount of traffic and can be just as bad as Cove at times.
If you want to train in dungeons...avoid Wrong unless you want to train in PvP. The first lvl of Hyloth is good once you have about 90 str. Once you get your dex, str, and healing up, the sun harpies on Avatar island are dam good to train on, and drop ok gold.
