it doesn't really matter my character got looted in the runechamber again so I deleted him. As far as traing anywhere else that's a joke no matter where i go someone shows up and kills you and takes everything, and again i don't really care about the money or equipment it's just not fun to have to restart building everything every ten minutes. I appreciate everyone advice and I suppose I'll still play but what's the point in having an adventurer? they're never gonna get ahead at least at this point on the server. Maybe it was different when you guys were building your characters.

As I recall it, there were just as many pk's around when I began playing here...If you can't train on your own due to pk's or dumbasses looting you when you die, join a guild and hunt with them...It's tons more fun to hunt i a group and you'll stand a much better chance of recalling/runestoning out, while the pk's kill the others instead of you

oh I was part of a guild and was going out with a group but if that group doesn't protect you then was is the point? I've runn into maybe two ppl who are honest and helpful. but nobody told me anywhere that all the rogue skills are turned off and so there's not much point in doing any other character but some sort of fighter/mage which is silly if everyone is the same basic class. I was really excited about starting a thieves guild but there's no point in it now. It's just discouraging to have wasted two weeks creating a character that has no point. And having to create a new character to a cetain design 'cause that's the only way to survive.

If you wanna play at some different fighter or mage than the rest, try choosing a differnt race...

The reason so many people are alike atm, is that a lot of players arrived within a few months of each other about 6-10 months ago, and they're now freely giving out advice on what works for them...But just because a few builds have been tried and tested dun mean they're the only ones out there...

And as for making a rougue and having to ditch him, I feel for you...But look at it this way, now you're older and wiser into this shard...And depending on how you spent your two weeks building him, you might even have some money and stuff to drop on a new adventurer...Be it fighter, mage, tank, war mage or some entirely new and little used option...I'm personally building a pvm mage whose build I haven't seen anyone else use...Of course, that dun mean it isn't out there, just that it's certainly not a common one...

Be creative and use the experience you've gained to your advantage...Sometimes you learn more form screwing up than from someone telling you 'In order to build a fighter, just copy me..!'

I just started about 2 months ago...and I'm still building my characters....

I have a feeling that I know what happened......you were trying to pratice snooping in runestone room? If thats what you were doing, it flags you as a criminal. I would probaby loot ya as well is you flagged on me as I was trying to put a rune code in...not many people wouldn't. I hear ya though, it sucks that rogues are not a playable option....but on the bright side...you don't have to worry about someone steeling your stuff rather then looting you.

I've never snooped since I tried it on my buddy and was told that it's frowned upon. I just find being a warrior kinda boring and being a mage is next to impossible unless you have a ton of cash. and those are the only classes that seem to either work or will survive. I'm not totally discouraged but I started a new character today but in the first ten minutes of playing I was PKed. Which as far as I know is not allowed according to the rules on the web site. it's just really frustrating and i don't see the point in playing a game that's gonna stress me out as much as my real life does. I'm gonna stick with it for awhile. A few of my friends were ticked off that I had decided to stop playing and they finally changed my mind but if the same crap continues I really don't see the point.

I'm sorry you feel I'm whining man, I'm just relating my bad expieriences. And so far nobody's related any good expierieces everybody has said the same has happened to them. I'm just trying to guage whether this is the typical time to be had on the server. Sorry to have bothered all of you.

How do you get pk'd with a character that you just made, unless you did something to make you a criminal.

there is no looting in RC, musta been somewhere else, and emm.......being a nobb sucks, its only when ur a good player u start to enjoy it, for me anyway.
