If i really wanted 2 oculd i make a mage first and have it still be good??? My friend told me about this game 2 days ago and he made a mage first and he was abig pker.. Vanguard.

He was really good 2 he said

ya a mage is good to have but i a mage really take money to make, cause u have to buy regs in my opinion i would make something else first to make the cash flow to mage a gm mage, magery isnt hard to do it just takes money to buy regs

dont make a mage first bud.. ull quickly be making something else.. only way that i would make a mage first.. if someone was prepared to donate me all the regs id need to gm the mage.. which... thats not likely to happen..

plus.. even if u did make a mage first and went around to all the shops buying all the regs.. ud soon run out of money and not be able to buy any more... and also.. the small amount of regs ud get wouldn't last u long at all..

if.. u really really really want a mage..... like bad.. make a necro mancer.. and get it to high skill and im sure ull find out how to get the regs ud need... necros are the best char type in the game for killing the bigger bad guys.. and with a necro.. regs are easily obtained..

regs are what u use to cast spells u need them to gain magery, and atm reg are a hot commodity to come by, but u can buy them from npcs?vendors in almost any town, different regs make up different spells, and u need multiple of each reg to cast any sort of spell, and u need a spellbook, which u will need to fill with spells to train u can obtain spells from npcs/vendors in mage shops in towns, allas some spells are hard to come by. taking narcopms advice i would go with a tank which is a warrior/mage, u can make money for regs with ur warrior skills so u can buy regs to train ur magery

a good tank can pk with the best if he is trained right and dont expect to be pkin right off the bat because u will be let down it takes time and effort to be a good pk on this shard. but i love the concept of pkin wee need more pks here so go for it
