Less haste dear Psychosizz.
Its best to come play a bit, learn the rules, limitations before steamrollering into PK mode.
Firstly you need to learn about going grey/red, and how guards will treat you. Then you gotta get the ins and outs of your char. How they perform in certain situations, like how best do they excel, what race they they work best against. Then its time for battle tactics. Try watching some of the other PK'ers around, in events and in the field.
Tank mages are pretty good. Suffer atm since temp stat pots dont work, so are liable to easy gankage. But they make great chars. There were a couple of good tanks around not long ago, but now are either not playing/inactive. One was a great PK too, but has since turned the other cheek and went blue. He could have showed you a thing or two for sure.

if you really want a mage...you could always start with a fisher.. or a blacksmith but fishers make alot more money if you did this in a month or so you would have a gm fisher or blacksmith and you could make alot of money...then you could buy regs and make a mage....or you could make a necro which also takes alot of time and be making alot of money by hunting and have a pretty good pker... i wouldnt advise a tank tho...a maxed out warrior can beat a tank casue of low str and there long healing delay and a maxed out mage can beat one becasue of there low int compared to there high int.... warriors arnt good for pking and not really good to make alot of moeny compared to a necro so its prolly a necro or a fisher or blacksmith

I wouldnt rule out a tank that quick legendary.
Nowadays vs warrior, tank has a little trick up his sleeve named bless and curse. Also they got in vas mani that works a treat. Tanks have always had big heal delays even before the added delay for holding weapons. So alternating between the spell/pot/bandie was a way of life.
Tank vs mage is not bad either, admittedly its a lot easier if the tank has archery. It can be done though without archery but takes a whole lot of effort to catch up with the moving mage. Tanks without archery perform good against mages in closed spaces like e-walls or in small event arenas where there is no room.

Tanks, warriors, and mages are all good and can all be used to pk. You just need to know how to use your character properly.

Wel// im gonna make a mage.. I've been reading the skill guide and I think i can do it. First I'll just do some huntin to get a few regs I need.. THen i'll start makin potions and sellin them fer money.. I''ll get more regs and eventually buy the spells I need. After I get bette rmagery I'll start inscribing to make even more moeny.. then when I have really good skills I'll start up with the pking tog et some loot. So I'm gonna make a mage first. As soona as i can get an acc. (f***** regestration doen't work)

I think your best bet would be to first use a vamp warrior to kill easy monsters, that way you can get some regs, scrolls, and money to build your mage with. Work on building your mage and then when you run out of resources, use you warrior to get more. Don't bother finishing your warrior just use him to get what you need to finish your mage.

My guess is cybervic or bb have not checked their pms recently, it may be a while. From the look of the help section I think a lot of people have been having problems creating accounts, hopefully staff will notice this soon. I don't think I have any empty accounts.
