Hi,

can anyone using UOAM please give some instructions on how to get the program up and running together with Obsidian?

A step-by-step guide for dummies would be greatly appreciated.

Ok it is pretty easy.

Download it all from http://uoam.net/

Then unzip and install as normal.

Choose your performance settings while obsidian is running.

Go to the MAP tab and choose UO data files locations, and direct it to your obsidian folder.

Then buy a sextant from a tinker shop and get your co-ordinates.
Choose the UO tab and then calibrate option. Choose britania, malas, ilshenar option and then insert your co-ordinates, and that should be it.

Ready to rock and roll.

you can also have a friend calibrate you.
for the learning how to use the map just play with the options and youll see. i run a map server for my buddies and me so that we can talk and see each other on map 24-7.
pretty awesome
