That thing has been there for months now...I thought there was some code in place to prevent private spawns?
It doesn?t really matter for me....I gave up on my tamer for the time...I'll go back to him someday...maybe when we can tame good creatures that are more then just status symbols. Until then, I'll spend the little time I have working on my warrior.

Yeah locking up spawns of creatures is not allowed. I have been told multiple times before that locking up untamed mustangs, etc is not allowed as it blocks the spawns of future mustangs from that location until that one has been tamed. Maybe you should consider getting it tamed. Or turning it top the wild.

Its all about driving up prices. I remember locking up the avatar spawn for a while because it was getting too common.

Probably a stang that had been renamed and had left its owner or wandered off if the owner was killed, and he couldnt find it or get it retamed.
And yup stang/spawn points are constant, just kill the llamas/horses that spawn there sometimes and a stang will eventually show up.

All kinds of places, if u run around in the woods and u'll find a horse then u just remember that locations since there'll be a horse spawn point somewhere near where u found her.
But it's possible to set the maximum spawn range, when u place a spawn point, so the horse might not spawn exactly where u found the last one.
I'll take a screenie whenever I find a horse/stang or LLama with the coords, and post them here so all the lazy tamers know where to look

23. Players may not harbor or confine any NPC in their housing or with other objects. This also applies to monsters as well, so no dropping boxes to keep it from chasing you.

There are stangs or horses trapped in about 1/3 of the houses on obsidian. I don't think they respawn since they aren't killed or tamed. Thanks to this rule breaking there are rarely any horses/stangs/llama's to be found to be tamed. Not dissin on the shard, just hoping people will stop breaking this rule. I personally don't mind when people gate a stang somewhere to tame it in private but when horses and llama's are trapped for weeks its different. When I get a mage I am gonna eq and chain lightning all the trapped ones I find to death.
Sincerely,
Freeze
