Time for a little bit of fun here. I'm going to be hosting the Obsidian Olympics when the server gets back on.

Here are a list of the following events to compete in:

1)The steeple chase (A race around the globe with only 1 item (no rides))
2)Archery (Kill the target the quickest and win)
3)Boxing (Fight to the death with nothing but your own body)
4)Crafter Crazie (Craft the most items in 5 minutes)
5)Relay (4 people teams working together to get 1 item through vesper)
6)Maze run (beat the maze before anyone else with the assistance of 3 items)

Sounds cool, but 5 and 1 are impossible to administer, particularly for a player. Anything that involves a 'race' is easy to cheat via runes - especially the race around the globe lol...

Looks like fun though...wonder who's idea the archery was?

DucK Pwns ideas and such.. how long will a race around the world take. couldnt we script there being no runes during it and no magic anywhere in world. and make it a huge thing and like Everyone gets prizes all day in events and like the winner of the race around the world gets one of each stang or f***** a lightning vanq of tehre choice ... newbs and vets like equal chance how great... whole day or weekend mabey of events. planned well. i dunno if its realistic but that would be great for the shard i think. also i realize you gonna do it in a smaller version ran by players man but tbh its gonna be hard to control everyone like that...

Well it won't be that hard at all really. I was thinking of doing the run myself and plotting the course. That way I'll know roughly how long it takes and thus to beat that time you'll probably have cheated. Also I'll make it so that there are checkpoints and you have to pick up certain items at those check points.

This way the whole race is made up of a series of smaller races, and it helps people to learn how to walk around instead of relying on the rc.

when i first started i ran on foot from cove to trinsic looking for a horse.....then i ran past trinsic and found a horse...man i wish i knew about wind then....but anyways how about a race from cove to trinsic on the path... oh and for the whole recall thing make everyone come naked with no items.... kill them all to make sure and then rez them and start the race
