I was hosting a dungeon crawl in Deceit. We were all having a jolly good time, until this diabolical mage named Vex suddenly appeared in the dungeon corridors. He used area of effect spells to kill a few members of our group, then retreated into the darker depths of the dungeon. We took chase, and soon came upon two of Vex's drakes blocking our path. After much clashing of steel and fire, the drakes lay vanquished. We continued our chase deeper into the dungeon until we came upon a large room containing a dracoliche! Vex had somehow gained control of it and unleashed it against our party. There was much death, destruction, and pain, which was increased many fold when Vex summoned two of his daemon minions at our only point of possible escape. We were trapped! Many valiant warriors died in the ensuing battle, blood lay strewn across the floor, and the sound of clashing bone, flesh, and steel was ever present. But at last, Vex's minions lay slain on the cold and mildew covered floor. Finally, the time for the showdown with Vex was at hand. However, after a quick series of taunts from Vex, he suddenly and mysteriously disappeared, leaving an echo ringing in the dungeon halls, in which he promised another confrontation against the people of Obsidian.

I will send word to the Paladins, this evil must be vanquished!

Its not bloodrock... rumour has it that it is enchanted mythril armour soaked in human blood - and the armour has been magically fused to his skin so any attempts to remove the armour would destroy it. That is assuming you were to kill the evil Vex - many have tried and none have survived.

I first met Vex in the mine near my house, and I thought he was going to PK me, then I found out that he was a staff's event character. I died about 3 times at the hands of Vex...

he reskilled u lol... hax!

Vex sux

There were 3 of us in Covetous. We had all dropped runestones as it was quitting time... roughly 10 seconds left on the stones. We spot Vex in the corner and quickly click our runestones, only to have them disappear I was sleepy so my judgement was a bit slow. I started to walk up to Vex to strike up a conversation... to which he responded with 2 flames that brought me down to about 10 HP. Fled the dungeon and promply logged out in the guarded area.
