I know I am not suppose to post a topic on my problems with my account but I have had no success with PMing the administrators. Please hear me out. I am unable to log into obsidian server. I registered in June. When I try to log in it says "Either the Account Name or Password you provided were incorrect. If this is a new account your account may not be active yet. Please try again shortly." I know I have my name and password typed correctly and I have made several attempts to log in. I double checked to make sure I registered and I also re-installed my Obsidian Shard installer, just in case. I have already PMed hydro, CyberVic and Broadband about this and none of which have even bothered to view my message despite the fact that they have made posts since then. Am I being blocked? I dont know who to turn to for help and this is my last resort. I have been waiting for three months and have never been able to even play once. How do i fix this problem?

Try starting all over again with the registration process using a different email or whatever. I had the same problem when I first joined, waited for about a month or so then just re-did it and got in within a day or 2 I think.

Try pming echo or thassius, last time i've seen hydro, bb or cyber was when i started 2 years ago..

I already PMed Thassius and he told me to PM hydro. As for re-registering... after a while, I figured my account must have cancelled since I hadn't even been able to login yet, but when I tried to re-register i saw my ip # show up (after submitting my new email and other info), so I figured my account was still (partially) working. And didn't want to end up getting in trouble for having two accounts.

Unfortunately I don't have admin access on the server. Tbh I'll ask CV about it when I next see him as it would certainly be useful. Until then you need to get hold of Hydro.

tbh...I have heard of this happening alot. I respectfully submit to BB or Bobby that maybe a look into the programing for account setup would be the most prudent and beneficial move for Obsidian Shard at this point. There is somewhat of a lull in PVP because not alot of people are on obsi and the new players aren't comeing fast enough. With an influx of new players we can look forward to more PVP and more meaningful guilds.

Fix this and start a small recruitment drive and Obsidian is in business!
