Don't you think it sux now? it became rly much weaker.
i'm not saying put it back like it used to be but it shouldn't have changed to that weak point.

People complained about RA being overpowered while i was saying its ok, then bob changed it.
and now they are complaining about warriors damages are so high and mages suck?!
omg please say something reasonable guys.
Actually 70% of ppl who are complaining about pvp system didn't even try it and they just say bullshits.

idk about this maher..our fight for tourney lasted forever..and you have beaten all the other warrioirs...i have a hard time , ecspelialy since med was juiced that mages are so much weaker.it all seems like its coming together pretty well.

reactive cant work how it used to... with the new class system it would destroy archers.. idk if any of u recall but reactive pretty much negated archery in t3a.. i am certain that it cant work that way
i cant comment on it if there was some different type of reactive in between the present and then but yea.. with all the new changes i can't see the old reactive being able to work

i dont think reactive itself is a problem.. i think how magery fizzles and the delays on its spells needs to be altered... mages need to have more speed

the good mages were never made or broken by how much dmg they took.. it was on how fast and flawlessly they could unleash their own..

unfortunately the problem i see is that you have no great mages here anymore.. in obs. prime not many truely excelled in it.. and the better mages you have here currently only became good post-deadly poison... (round the time all your good pvp mages quit)

but ne ways.. as far as mages go i have on many occasions since my return have addressed that they need to be stronger unfortunately i dont think reactive is the answer

I can agree with this post in which spell speed has changed dramatically and even when unleashing spells it does nothing warriors will out heal, resist, and P POT u so that you are fizzling atleast 70% of your spells....so forget Flamestrike thats like a spell in the past. It has no use currently.. I barely see any mage use it ever not even once. That in itself should say how shitty mages are compared to before. O n BTW I was a pvp mage before deadly poison...first player i killed Ares with 70 str and 90 magery... No walls, no p pots, no summons, no pets straight chasing and attacking with SPEED.

walls are an entirely different issue.. and i think i have done expressed my lack of love for them...
walls.. animals.. poison spam...
in general pvp is trash thats why you dont see me participating..
maybe im just old school.. or maybe it was just better... who knows..

I thought RA was just fine the old way. Everyone was whining about it being too powerful, but personally I could still get my ass kicked quite easily when using it :lol:

i think in the old system it wasmore that warriors were missing insane amounts of their hits even at GMx everything which made everyone Say RA is too powerful because it made them miss even more.

but in this new system I think warriors are way more efficient they hit faster, harder, and more accurately than in the past.

Post basically says old RA was okay

the true in T3A it was overpowerd, in the began of T4A it was good not bad and not strong , but what i see now its really weak, we should make it lettel higher , cuz it cant be that mage recieve 70 damage , they say that the weps are overpowerd , but really its the RA is bad not like befor , the weapons are ok, its just the ar weak, we should make it lettel higher not to be overpowred , and not to be useless , just i think bob should test it again , i think it need lettel high..

Basically says make strength between old and present

weps do miss a lot less..
perhaps reactive would not be a problem if it functioned like it did..
but i do recall reactive for the most part negating archery and i think that would be a big problem -Repost in thread about how it triggers to skill type
because back in the day you had to constantly switch from archery to melee. and a good mage would make u do this frequently.. where as now they stay away.. a good mage would get in close to u a sec to catch his breath..

its hard to say really

one thing is for certain.. i will have to keep in mind how weps hit alot more often than they used to.

Basically says old RA str would be fine

not necessarily.. id have to see it in action before I would put my name on that. Don't Cliff Note my posts :P lol /k

I think this might go back to walls being used so frequently now. Mages had an ability to stay close to warriors due to reactive's effect, which didn't work so well at distance, if I recall correctly. So it didn't really help for a warrior to trap a mage because of RA's effect. Now trapping a mage is the only way to fight effectively against them.

@ nightmare,

that goes as the reverse now also. because you cant finish a warrior off due to walls... if they get anywhere near low, all they have to do is wall them selves in, then if you have +50 mana, you have to waiste it either mass dispelling then attacking or using a AOE spell...
both in which wont kill the warrior anyway, because betime you do either, they would have healed...

so i think pvp should be balanced WITHIN walls, because realistically, thats how all fights do/ will end... just due to the nature of walls... or put in a anti wall feature like i suggested b4.. that would have to be used strategically..

as a necro, walls have saved my ass a couple times also tho, dont get me wrong lol



@ all

reactive armor is a bit underpowered atm, but i think it would be fine if walls werent as they were now...
