Perhaps these questions have been answered in this forum but I thought I'll ask again since I don't have time to search for the answers and I just found out the hard way that u lose loads of stat if ur over the cap and log out!

Are -INT potions the only way to lower ur INT?

If it is the only way, why was the old way removed (OLD WAY: boosting ur STR or DEX over the total cap and fight a monster to auto lower INT)?

I presume that Alchemist is the only ones capable of doin potions like this sp how good Alchemist do u need to be to make them?

What kind of supplies do I need to make them?

yup sir, u need to use -int pots now to lower ur int. They now drop ur int by 4 ( so do the -str and -dex) compared to the old -1 to the apropriate stat.

and i bellieve it was changed as the old way was seen as an exploit, and to help player alchemsist make more money. likewise with tamers, the stablemasters were removed so to let tamers make more money.

and i believe u can make the pots at 99 skill, but i waited till i was GM lachemist b4 i tried to make them, as its bestter at Gm and wasnt that far to wait.

also, these pots are made from deamon bones, u need 6 bones to make each pot ( a deamon drops 5, and deamons are kinda hard to come by now). The pots fail a tonne, like 60% fail. sometimes u get a lucky day when u can almost get about 20% fail rate, but 60% seems to be norm.

they sell for 5k, -dex at 10, and -str, no idea, no-one buys that stuff.

There are other ways to drop int, but they all drop str and dex as well...If you have a GM fisherman with high cooking, it is not much of an issue to loose str and dex, but if you don?t, it's better to use the pots.

If you have a good fisherman you can get yourself sent to jail and just click the jail stone for a while...select "loose 1 from a random stat". I lost 20 int this way, but I also lost 15 str and 10 dex....I got it all back in about 2 days days, but it was a bit of a pain in the ass fishing that much. AND I gained back a lot of the int I lost in just 3 days of training.

It's up to you......Personally, I am done playing for a while until the pots are more available or the runaway int gains are fixed.

If your at the stats cap why do you gain stats? Isn't that what a cap is?

its a stupid system. no stat caps only a system that detects when your over a certain amount of stats and automatically drops them. f****** up your stats.

I didn't realize that, they should either make the cap an actual cap so you don't raise stats once you hit it. Or atleast make the stats cap 300 so you can get 100 of each without messing up your stats. The first option would be preferrable, and would still make the - stat pots useful for people who want to go over 100 in a stat.

its such a pain getting -INT pots and u have to buy like 2-4 pots every week and they are really rare...I would love it if the old way to drop INT was back...and Chronos the stat cap is at 295 so no point in making it 300. 5 points dont make such a big difference.

i use a -int a day and im a tank mage god damn it, i feel for warriors who would use tonnes more since thier int is so much lower.

I did some thinking since I need to lower my INT by 40 points
And since one -int potion lower ones int with 4 point then I need 10 potions. If one consider what bruiser said about the fail rate (60%)
then I'm going to need deamonbones for 25 potions. 40% of 25 is 10
That's 150 Deamonbones!

Since u get 5 deamonbones for every killed deamon Then I'll just have to find 30 Deamons and actuallly succed in kill them, how hard can that be....

So I guess I'll just have to find someone who are willing to sell me 10
-INT potions for 50K instead. If anyone are interested in doin business with me let me know! And I need some time huntin since I don't have 50K atm

This is gonna be a stupid question but I've been working on a paper for my course at the uni.. for roughly 10 hours straight so my head screwd.

Do I need to gather the deamon bones myself or do u get them?. Because I heard today that they can be bought
