I have changed my view on this matter and think the rate is ok,everyone walking around with rose or black would be silly.Thats why we should stick to the price guide.

There's no 'everyone' walking around in rose or black...There are a couple of people to own rose items, simply because rose drop so much more than black...There are a few rare people to own black and the number of people playing that own full black can prolly be counted on one hand...And I have yet to see a single blood item out there, but then again, I hear that blood is still bugged...
So imo the failiure rate is still way too high...Mining every day for a month you're lucky enough to get the 30 blacks needed for a chest, which is extremely likely to fail...Too much imo...

yup yup, the other day i afiled a black rock chest, which took me a month of mining to ahve enough for. i was gutted lets say. emmm....maybe if we got half ingots back on a fail, or as mentioned b4 slightly increase the success rate of making rose/black and make blood produceable. i have found one blood rock ore in 2 months :/

lol yeah...Even if blood was producable, there'd be no sense in trying to make something from it...It easily takes a full year or more of mining to have enough for one oeice and if it was producable and the failiure rate was as high or higher than everything else, why waste a years efforts on a 15% chance?

I think the failure rate is fairly acceptable atm. Just my opinion though.

i like the idea that bl and br are very rare and the fail rate has alot to do with that. getting some of the materials back if you failed would be a good idea tho.

Just my 2 Cents on the topic.....
It's never gonna get fixed...just like 90% of the other things that need attention.
There is just not a lot of people who can script who are willing to put their time into the game. The ones that are are willing to put some time into scripting have their projecrts set for months in advanced...and thats not includeing any delays they encounter.
Then there is the BB factor.....These guys are kind enough to spend their free time helping the shard, but the code still has to be added to the game. BB is very rarely around these days, so theres no one to implement the code once it's been written.

I want them to stick in some sort of white colored armor, ice er snow er whatever you wanna call it. Me wants white armor, I'd be happy with just that yep woot! The success rate is fine for all rare armors in my opinion atm.

hmm white, well would be cool if u could get dyes for armour maybe craftable or as loot, would have to make sure none of the real armour colours were as dyes tho.

i failed on black rock heater wich took me a long time to mine, but made some gm ring blackrock gloves. I think the fail rate is way high but not unexceptible. If a player has full blackrock, i see that as a sign of prestige. if a smith can pull of a full gm set of Blackrock, to me that is the ultimate in what a smith has to offer, in order to make rose / blackrock it take s dedication and time, i say leave the fail rates like they are, i don;t want everyone having blackrock and rose just me
